Arrival in Riyadh

Welcome to Saudi Arabia!
On your arrival at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check-in and spend the day at leisure to relax and uwind.
Saudi Arabia’s fascinating capital city, Riyadh is a blend of medieval and millennial. Centuries-old history can be found within its atmospheric souqs, compelling museums and ancient architecture, but it’s also a modern metropolis, with glittering high-rises and a burgeoning contemporary art scene.

Explore Riyadh

AL DIRAIYAH, MASMAK FORTRESS, NATIONAL MUSEUM AND KINGDOM TOWER.
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you step back in time to explore one of the country’s five UNESCO World Heritage sites, Al Turaif district of Al Diraiyah.
It is the original seat of power of Saudi Arabia’s Al Saud family. Admire the intricately carved, coloured wooden doors and beautifully restored turrets of impressive mud-brick palaces and buildings.
Then, head towards the Masmak Fortress, a vast clay and mud-brick citadel. The word means a high, strong and thick building and serves as a proud reminder of Saudi Arabia’s storied history. Today, the restored building is a museum, a favorite among travellers wanting to step back in time and explore Saudi Arabia’s roots.

Arrival in AlUla; Elephant Rock & Stargazing at Gharameel

This morning after breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to AlUla (~ 1 hour and 45 minutes).
Famous for its wealth of cultural and archaeological sites, AlUla has become an absolute highlight of any visitor to the Kingdom.
On your arrival in AlUla, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and spend some time to settle in.
You will then be taken to the beautiful Elephant Rock for a sunset experience. At a height of 52 meters, this natural formation looks like an elephant with a ground-bound trunk, and it is surrounded by hundreds of rock monoliths.
Watch the sun setting and the incredible view while enjoying local tea and coffee.

Jabal Ikmah, Dadan & Hegra

This morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast and begin your journey through time at Dadan, the ancient kingdom of the Lihyanite and Dadanite civilisations. After exploring the ruins, a 10-minute drive will take you to Jabal Ikmah, an open library of inscriptions, rock art and petroglyphs set in a stunning desert canyon.
Stop for snack from one of the food trucks at Winter Park and refuel while soaking up the picturesque scenery.
Then set off to Hegra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest preserved site of the Nabataean civilisation south of Petra. Here you’ll explore over 110 remarkably well preserved tombs set in a desert landscape, while learning about the ancient people and culture of AlUla.
In the evening, enjoy the sunset and sit down to dinner in one of the two restaurants in AlUla Old Town. Each serves local cuisine, with entertainment and music for an authentic ambience.
You may optionally visit the Madakheel area for a late night stargazing experience before heading back to the hotel. Overnight in AlUla.

Hiking Trail and AlUla Fresh

This morning, undertake an adventurous hike and scale the rocky terrain around AlUla.
You could either set off the Madakhil Hiking Trail for an epic tour of the desert around narrow canyons, gorges and cliffs (suitable for intermediate hikers), or the AlUla Oasis View Trail, hike up to Alfath mountain peak after which you’ll find awe-inspiring vistas of millions of palm trees below you.
After the hike, make your way to the AlUla Fresh Farm for a fun and fascinating experience around the agriculture at AlUla.
Get back to nature by picking fruits in a basket, planting seeds and enjoying at a relaxing spot in the farm while your organic lunch is served.

Explore Jeddah

This morning after breakfast, check-out and transfer to AlUla airport for your flight to Jeddah.
On your arrival in Jeddah, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel.
Explore the city through a Cultural walking tour towards Jeddah’s historical city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start your walk at the eastern edge of the historic Al Balad (old town) near the majestic Makkah Gate.
Visit the ornate Naseef Historical House, now a museum that was once home to King Abdul Aziz, who pitched up here after his conquest of Jeddah in 1925.
Then visit Abdul Raouf Khalil Art Museum, which houses a significant and unusual collection of arts, ethnography, and archaeology artifacts. After lunch, journey to the beautiful Jeddah corniche. Located along the Red Sea, the corniche features a coastal road, with long stretches of sandy beaches, cool walkways and recreation areas. Here, you will also see King Fahd’s Fountain, the highest fountain in the world. and the Al- Rahmah Mosque (also known as the Floating Mosque).
