This morning, check out from the hotel and drive to Waitomo, a village on the North Island of New Zealand known for its extensive underground cave systems. Explore the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves.
Then, head to Matamata for a guided tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set and step into the lush pastures of the Shire, as featured in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.
Continue your drive to Rotorua (approx 50 mins), a region surrounded by stunning natural and unique environments.

Agrodome Rainbow Springs Te Puia Authentic Maori Hangi Feast and Concert

Today after breakfast at the hotel, head out to discover the best of Rotorua. Gain an insight into New Zealand’s Maori culture at Te Puia, and experience Rotorua’s famous geothermal activity, boiling mudpools and roaring geysers.

Today after breakfast, check out and transfer to Rotorua Airport to board your domestic flight to Christchurch.

Punting on the Avon River, heritage tram rides, street art trails and botanical gardens are just some of the things to do here.

Queenstown via Mount Cook

This morning, have breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Drive to Queenstown via Mt. Cook.
Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo, the township faces north across the remarkable turquoise coloured lake to the mountainous drama of the Southern Alps. Along the road the ‘Church of the Good Shepherd’ and the sheepdog statue are great photo opportunities continuing on to New Zealand’s highest mountain – Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the Alpine Resort of Queenstown.

Milford Sound

This morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel, follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound.
Located very close to Queenstown and described as the eight wonder of the world, Milford Sound is a destination of incredible scenery and outstanding natural beauty. The drive into Milford Sound is just as scenic as the destination!
Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Transfer back to Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown.

Today after breakfast, check out and travel north to Greymouth to board the Tranz Alpine train. Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps.
