On your arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will drive you through the mountainous landscapes of Hajar, to the rocky highlands of Jebal Akhdar.
Escape to cool mountain climes two hours’ drive inland from Muscat.
On your arrival at Jabal Akhdar, check-in and unwind from the journey. Spend your time at leisure to enjoy the resort and soak up the breathtaking surroundings. Take time to admire the wilderness and plunging canyons of the beautiful mountain. Overnight at Jabal Akhdar.

Experiences at Jabal Akhdar

This morning, enjoy breakfast at the resort and choose from the multitude of experiences that Jabal Akhdar has to offer.
A guided walk is a good way to see the charming villages that overlook the spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges and wadis.
In addition to the village hikes, you can opt for exhilarating activities like mountain yoga, rock climbing, via ferrata, adventure park and archery or simply relax in the luxury of your resort pool overlooking the majestic canyons.

Wahiba Sands

This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the resort.
After checking-out, drive towards Wahiba Sands, the desert region of Oman, famous for its amber-colored sands and exhilarating sand sports. The sands span an area of more than ten thousand square kilometers, giving you an opportunity to discover Oman in true Arab style.
Check-in to your desert camp, secluded in the desert, with endless silken sands in all directions and spectacular craggy mountains in the distance.
At the Wahiba Sands, you can partake in dune bashing, desert trekking, sandboarding, quad-biking and camel safaris. You can also visit nearby Bedouin families and immerse yourself in their culture.

Drive to Ras Al Jinz via Wadi Bani Khalid

This morning, enjoy sunrise in the desert and capture the scenic beauty of the endless sands.
Check-out from the camp and drive to Wadi Bani Khalid as part of your journey from the desert to the coast. This evergreen wadi is adorned with cascading water, forming a turquoise green pool that is ideal for swimming. The wadi feels like a magical oasis in the desert and is perfect for a leisure day with palm trees, pristine pools and rock faces for picnics and swims.
Then continue your journey to Ras Al Jinz. Oman’s turtle reserve at Ras Al Jinz offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe thousands of green sea (and other species of) turtles laying their eggs at night.
On your arrival at Ras Al Jinz, check-in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.
After dinner, head to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve for your night tour with a specialist. The highlight of this experience is to see the hatchlings make their way to the surface and head out to sea.
This turtle reserve in Oman is one of the world’s largest nesting sites for endangered green sea turtles. Each year tens of thousands of sea turtles migrate to the Arabian Peninsula to lay tens of thousands of eggs. Sur’s reserve plays a significant role in the preservation of this vital, natural habitat. Hatching takes place during the night when turtles emerge from the waters to dig a hole in the sand and lay their eggs in there.
Unfortunately, nothing is guaranteed in the wild, but on most occasions, you can see a couple of turtles even during off-season.

Drive to Muscat

This morning, enjoy breakfast and check out to proceed towards the city of Muscat via the coastal road, with breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman.
Continue your drive via Wadi Shaab, Shaab in Arabic, literally means ‘Ravine between Cliffs’ shallow green pools and abundant shade give Wadi Shaab the perfect setting for a picnic. [Optional visit to the Bimmah Sink hole.
On your arrival in Muscat, check in to the hotel and spend your time at leisure.
In the evening, visit The Mutrah Souq, a bustling traditional Arab market housed under a modern timber roof. The market comprises a maze of small shops selling Omani and Indian artefacts, jewellery, traditional textiles, and plenty more. When visiting the souq, you can expect to bargain. And while cards are accepted at most shops, cash is best when trying to secure a better deal.

Dolphin Watching Cruise & Snorkeling

This morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to Marina Bandar for your Dolphin Watching Cruise.
Surrounded by mountains on one side and the Gulf of Oman on the other, the Muscat waters are home to many fascinating marine creatures, one of them being the majestic dolphins.
It is indeed a unique opportunity to witness dolphins in their natural habitat. After sighting the dolphins and sailing around the beautiful coastal line of Muscat, you will return to the Marina at around 1300Hrs. You also have the option to enjoy Snorkeling over the coral reefs.

Daymaniyat Islands

This morning, head out to explore another beautiful island, the Daymaniyat Islands.
Touring and snorkeling the Daymaniyat Islands is one of the most surprising and must-do parts of a trip to Muscat, Oman.
Nine small islands make up this snorkeling hotspot, with its brightly colored fish, sea turtles, and clear beautiful water. The islands are a natural preserve, uninhabited, completely natural, and protected by a marine reserve.
The boat ride out to the islands takes around 30-40 minutes from the Marina. The island is home to a large number of sea turtles and you can swim with them even if you’re snorkelling. With crystal clear waters, endless rare sites and wondrous creatures it is nothing short of a heaven for snorkelers and divers.
